Are you mechanically inclined and seeking a job at a reputable Toyota Land Cruiser repair shop in Colorado Springs, Colorado? Are you passionate about 4x4s, Toyotas, Land Cruisers, or automotive repair systems work flow?

Red Line Land Cruisers is looking for a Toyota 4X4 Service Writer to expand upon our team of mechanics, welders, fabricators, and Toyota Land Cruiser experts. This is a 40-hour work week position. Nights and weekends are for family, fun & wheeling!

Job Requirements:

Passionate about Toyota, especially vintage Land Cruisers / Toyota 4X4s
Helpful: 2-3 years of experience working on Toyota 4X4s
Willingness to learn
Willingness to get your hands dirty
Experience with MaxxTraxx Auto Repair Software a bonus – We will train

The duties of the Red Line Land Cruiser 4X4 Service Writer includes acting as the primary liaison between customers and the automotive technicians. The service writer will be the customer service – sales liaison, greeting customers, understanding their vehicle’s issues, and relaying that information to technicians. Key duties include writing accurate repair orders, providing clear cost and time estimates, updating customers on repair status, and explaining completed work. The service adviser also coordinates with the service manager, parts personnel, and technicians, and must possess strong automotive knowledge, communication skills, and customer service abilities. Again, we will show you everything, but having the mechanical knowledge will be a great base to work from.

When we take on new builds, from essential mechanical services to in-depth restorations, we assess your goals for the vehicle and help you achieve those goals in the best way possible. Regardless of your vision for the vehicle, Red Line Land Cruisers can bring it to life. Classic restorations, Resto-Mods, or our favorite Rock Rods, we will ensure they roll out of our shop in factory-fresh condition, ready for adventure.

At the foot of the Rocky Mountains, “America’s Mountain,” Pikes Peak, is nearby, and the stunning Garden of the Gods park is within the metropolitan area, yet accessible via dirt roads to the Rampart Range. From our front door, we view Pikes Peak, one of the most famous mountains in the U.S., dubbed “America’s Mountain.” It’s also the most visible landmark in Colorado Springs, standing over 14,000 ft tall. We can even drive (weather permitting) to 11,500 feet in the dirt within 25 miles of the shop!
