Here at Red Line Land Cruisers, we simply love 40-Series Land Cruisers! We’ve built them mild to wild and have tried all kinds of spring / shackle combinations over the years, in pursuit of ride quality, “crawl-ability,” U-joint / driveshaft longevity, all with the best possible steering geometry! Simply put, most FJ40 lift kits available on the market are “over-sprung!”

Why? The Toyota Land Cruiser itself was designed to withstand a “working” life. It is a 4X4 vehicle design and built for the rigors of rugged work, on the farm, jungle, woods or deserts across the globe! It is a heavy duty vehicle and most spring packs are designed for heavy duty use! When Red Line Land Cruisers began back in 2007, the small Colorado Springs company started with building wild FJ40 “rock crawlers” “rock rods” yet, these vehicles where street-going machines. A lot has changed over the years in pursuit of Toyota Land Cruisers! The Red Line team desired a softer solution and after years of “trial-and-error” usage, we’ve arrived at what we feel is the best leaf spring – shackle – shock combination to provide a 2.5″ suspension lift for non-overlanding “heavy loaded” FJ40 / 40-Series Land Cruisers.

This 2.5 Ultimate Lift Package is heavy, ships on a pallet and can take longer than small-package deliveries. You may want to consider having it delivered to a friend who owns a business with a fork lift to offload from the shipping truck.
