PACK IN AND PACK OUT!

There isn’t a single one of us who is against the “Tread Lightly” philosophy, and many of us pack out our own trash, but how many of us pick up trash when we see it? Or, how often do we end up with a nasty burrito or sandwich wrapper stuffed under the seat of the vehicle and smelling it for the rest of the trip? Tase should be keep outside the vehicle where we do not have to smell it, or it can make a mess on the interior of the vehicle, and the sheer be more than enough room in a trash bag for what your bring and whatever trash you might find along the trail. The problem is, hanging a 20-gallon Hefty Cinch Sack off the back of your vehicle does not work so well, one bump, one tree limb snag and it’s spilling the contents out onto the ground! And the use of the old-style canvas or burlap bags that many of of used years ago can damage paint and simply fail due to exceeding their intended design limitations and dropping more trash on than they hold.
