RL36145-60010 Gasket, Transfer Extension Housing 1969 – 1980 FJ40 Land Cruiser (DR1-7A)

The original gasket from Toyota has not been discontinued, but you have to order it in kit form. We perform enough transfer case rebuilds to warrant always having this one gasket on standby! The housing has a bearing that requires setting pre-load; thus, we are in here more than elsewhere on the t-case. The factory Toyota gasket tears so easily when attempting to slide the gasket onto the flange of the extension housing. We made our own and opened up the inner diameter to allow an easier installation, but it still fits snuggly; thus, care is always called for when installing such gaskets.
