RL1020 CABLE STOP ANCHOR BARREL

IF YOU HAVE A 1968 – 9/1973 GAS PEDAL, you will need this Cable Stop.

Do you have a 2F engine in your 1972 FJ40? You will need this Cable Stop Anchor Barrel. It all comes down to what year your gas pedal is. Whether it’s a 1F or 2F engine, if your gas pedal is from a 1968 to 9/1973 Land Cruiser, this Cable Stop Anchor Barrel is needed when using the 36″ Midnight Series throttle cable for your Holley EFI Sniper setup. 

We CNC machined the Cable Stop Anchor Barrel specifically for the FJ40 Sniper Midnight Series 36″ Throttle Cable to use on the 40-Series Land Cruiser gas pedals manufactured from 1968 through 9/1973. This will allow the use of the factory Toyota FJ40 pedal and factory position when using the Sniper Midnight cable for your Holley Sniper adaptation to your F-Series Toyota Engine.

This is the pedal side of the Sniper Throttle Cable. We will need to remove this clevis and use our barrel-type anchor.

Remove the cable from the housing using the fallen key supplied with the throttle cable.

Slide the RL1020 Cable Stop Anchor Barrel onto the cable, and it is now ready to install onto the gas pedal arm.

If you have purchased a used pedal arm, it sometimes gets bent on the slotted end and will need a minor adjustment.
These old Toyota Land Cruiser parts are rare and expensive, so be cautious when bending the metal.

Now the throttle cable is ready to thread back into the housing and through the FJ40 firewall.
