Modified 95 Degrees AISIN Fan Clutch, 80-Series Heavy Duty – 1FZ-FE Blue Hub Fan Clutch Mod

Help your 1FZ-FE engine stay cool and run at the optimal temperature! Our modified OEM Aisin Fan Clutch engages at 95 degrees as we change the CST Fluid formula and adjust the temperature springs to achieve a long-term solution with a higher “lock-up” rate. This modification is known as the “Blue Hub Fan Clutch Mod” for 80-Series Toyota Land Cruisers. This modification is prevalent because it correctly matches the fan engagement to the water pump rotation dynamics. This is our “Standard Modified” version, and we also have the Super-HD Mod version.

We have been running this same modified AISIN fan clutch for three years on our 80-Series in hot temperatures, with A/C on, driving on oversized wheels (37″) at low RPM at high altitudes (9 -10,000ft average) with no issues here in Colorado Springs (6,000+ ft elevation just in town).
