This 80-Series Land Cruiser Front Axle Spindle with Bushing, or stub axle (Toyota Spindle Sub-Assembly, Steering Knuckle 43401-60040 / 43401-60081) that bolts onto the outer face of the steering knuckle. This is not a factory Toyota part, but rather a very reputable Japanese parts manufacture. Would we and do we use these parts on our personal vehicles? Absolutely! The Front Axle Spindle slides over the outer axle shaft, houses the inner/outer wheel bearings and races, holds the axle bushing or needle bearing, and provides the mounting surface for the wheel hub.
