This is a 3FE factory Toyota distributor cap and distributor rotor made by DENSO, Toyota’s OE supplier. Typically, you change the cap and rotor together, so we made it a kit. We recommend changing the cap and rotor every 60,000 miles. The Toyota 3FE Service manual does not specify interval changes for the rotor or cap, but recommends changing spark plugs every 45,000 miles. We change spark plugs at every 30,000-mile interval, cap and rotor at every 60,000 miles, and spark plug wires at every 90,000 miles.
