Are you adding an air compressor to your FJ40 to activate your air lockers and air up your tires after trail runs? While we like to retain as much of the classic vintage look of our FJ40’s we do like to give them some mods too! But we want them to either be mechanically advantageous while remaining classic in the visual aspect. And we do not like to drill holes into the classic 40-Series Land Cruiser dash! That is a bit of a sacrilege! We’ve made a combo of the three billet knobs: Compressor, Rear Locker, and Front Locker, to help complete your dash, along with our Billet Knobs – SET. While we have the complete knob set to keep your FJ40 RestoMod project moving forward, how to add those additional switches and knobs? We removed the factory ashtray and made a billet aluminum panel that retains the look of the ashtray, but it is pre-drilled for three switches, as seen below.

The Billet Knob Locker Set is a direct fit onto the OEM Toyota Headlight Switch or Windshield Wiper Switch.

Red Line Land Cruisers developed these billet “Resto Mod” knobs for 40-Series Toyota Land Cruisers. Over the years, we’ve found that restoring and rebuilding Toyota Land Cruisers for clients has brought us to the point where custom dash layouts and textiles needed a “one-off” visual aspect for certain custom builds, especially ones where knobs are added for a compressor, front locker, rear locker, or other accessories.
