FOR FJ62 3FE (1988 -1990) SEE KIT RL1153.A

As Toyota 80-Series owners, specifically FJ80 owners, we must pay homage to our FJ62 brethren, as our 3FE engine was introduced in their chassis before ours. BUT, there is a slight belt difference for the FJ62, so please use the RL1153.A Kit.

Per the Toyota Service Repair Manual, Drive Belts are to be inspected every 30,000 miles. Check the Drive Belts for fraying, cracks, wear, or oiliness. Check that the belts do not touch the bottom of the pulley groove. If necessary, replace the drive belts. RLLC-Trail Tip: Store old belts in your rig for a “trail fix” or to lend to a buddy in need while on the trail. If you have a spare, “you will never need it!” The day you do not have a spare is the day you need it!
