We are now using these “Long Coil Wire” factory Toyota Spark Plug Wires with the red boot vs the previous versions with the green boot that have been discontinued. We really liked those wires for their 45-degree spark plug boots. But at least we are now shipping this TuneUp Kit with Non-US Distributors and with factory Toyota Spark Plug Wires!

We developed this package over the years, building and extracting as much reliable torque and power as possible from 2F engines while servicing our in-house customers’ Toyota Land Cruisers. We grew tired of flimsy, basic points ignition systems and US-smog-curved “aka de-tuned” dizzies. Our 2F Performance Tune-Up Kit for 1975+ Toyota Land Cruisers begins with a factory-reliable, OE Toyota non-US distributor featuring the non-US smog curve.

With this new OE Toyota distributor, we upgrade the electronics to a proven performance Pertronix 2F Dizzy Mag Pickup system versus those old points. After installing the points conversion in-house, we test each unit’s vacuum advance system and electronics to ensure each unit ships ready to install! This will provide the performance you are looking for with OEM reliability, and it will not require rerouting heater houses like some aftermarket distributors. And this Toyota-Pertronix setup will give you a better spark and the “SPARK READY PERFORMANCE” for the Sniper EFI conversion!

Along with this goodness, our 2F Performance TuneUp Kit includes the Pertronix Flame Thrower II Ignition Coil and our RLLC Ignition Coil Sleeve Adapter, allowing you to use your factory coil mount. We include a new OE Toyota 2F Rotor to complete the ignition cycle. So, about the OE Toyota FJ60 Spark Plug Wire Set. Yes, we said FJ60 as the coil wire is longer than the FJ40 wire, but we will take that with the better spark gained with the FJ60 spark plug wires, so you can deliver a hotter spark to the (6) BPR5EY NGK Spark Plugs. We include a brand-new Toyota Distributor Clamp because yours is most likely chewed up and sporting some American Standard “wrong” thread bolt.

NOTES: The red wire and black wire go directly to the pos/neg side of the coil. No other ground is needed. The extra ground wire from the dizzy body can be grounded to the battery if you prefer. AGAIN, not needed unless you have a terrible ground from the engine to the chassis, and no ground from the battery to the chassis.
