ANNOUNCING THE NEXT CHAPTER FOR KOYO Bear
Since its beginning in 1921, everything Koyo has done has revolved around motion. Koyo have in fact squeezed a lot of history into a hundred years, moving man and machine in just about every industry and every corner of the world. Sitting still never suited the Koyo brand. That said, the world today is different. It’s more connected. The collective partners want their brand scheme to reflect that connectivity and recognize that since 2006—when Koyo Seiko and Toyoda Machine works merged to form JTEKT—the technical partners have been knocking down walls and building one company with a single message: JTEKT delivers Quality, Reliability, and Customer Service.
Starting back in April of 2022, JTEKT Corporation began unification of many of its global brands to the JTEKT brand. For bearings this means the Koyo brand name and logo will transition to JTEKT.
This step is intended to guarantee a unified market presence of the globally operating company. Please be informed that this is only a change of brand name and logo. While the box logo may change, it’s the same people, same company, same factories, and same great products—now with a unified name! You can rely on the continued outstanding service and product quality in the future under the JTEKT brand name that you’ve become accustomed to in the past with Koyo.
In consideration of the logistics supply chain, number of unique parts, and the goods in stock, a lengthy transition period for packaging and part markings is anticipated. At this time, legal entity names and other transaction/banking information remain unchanged.
As Koyo / JTEKT moves into the next generation of the unified brand under the JTEKT Corporation, they are looking forward to the next chapter in their relationship with customers. JTEKT sincerely appreciate all the support of Koyo bearings and looks forward to continued support of JTEKT bearings moving forward as its only a package branding change, while delivering the same quality as originally expected!
JTEKT North America Corporation, part of JTEKT Corporation, was founded in 2006 through the merger of Koyo Seiko, Co., LTD and Toyoda Machine Works, LTD, forming a new global company combining modern technology with a rich heritage of quality.
