Koats 4 Kids Car Show – A Car Show For A Cause! Hosted by: Tryed And Tru Car Club

The “Tryed and Tru” Car Club is hosting its 2nd Annual Koats 4 Kids Car Show for a Cause on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Yes, we are attempting to bring a couple of Land Cruisers out to add to the car show and to help support a great cause of kids in Colorado Springs, CO. Join us for a great cause as winter is approaching! If you wish to display, please see the *Donation requirements down below as a coat donation is required for entry.

This community event raises winter coat donations for children in need within the local school districts of Colorado Springs, CO.

Location: St. Francis Hospital, 6001 E. Woodmen Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80923
Date: Sept 5th, 2026
Time: 12pm – 3pm (Car show entrants – 11AM roll-in / set up)

Spectator Admission: Free for spectators.

*Donation for Car Show Entrants:
New winter coats with tags – required.
Sizes: Grades K-5 (sizes 5–16)

Highlights: Public car show, community gathering, and the top 5 People’s Choice Awards for participating vehicles.

ABOUT KOATS 4 KIDS
Koats 4 Kids is an annual community program in Colorado Springs, Colorado that collects and provides brand-new warm winter coats to every child at a selected low-income elementary school. The main goal of Koats 4 Kids is ensuring every student at a chosen local school to receive a brand-new, high-quality winter coat. The Koats 4 Kids organization also raises extra funds through events, silent auctions, and games to support other local charities and youth programs in the community. A different local school or district is chosen each year based on student need.

Koats 4 Kids started as just an idea through a conversation. In 2006, it turned into a memorable community event that continues each fall. Koats 4 Kids continues the annual tradition of bringing the community together to provide every child in the selected low-income school a brand new warm winter coat. Koats 4 Kids also raises funds through a silent auction, door prizes and poker games to give back to programs in the community that benefit kids.

Our President has successfully helped other clubs grow their footprint & recognition nationwide.
