This fully built 200-Series Toyota Land Cruiser has an asking price is $35,000, based on its solid condition and upkeep, and the amount of aftermarket items (it has everything you could think to put on a Land Cruiser).
My family and I have loved this Land Cruiser. It has taken us on countless camping trips (and handled towing a small trailer like a champ), taken a few expeditions out to Moab and off-roading throughout Colorado.
200 owners will attest that these trucks handle great off-road as well as on, thanks to the 5.7 liter V8 engine. While 2008 isn’t modern by any standard, these trucks have all of the amenities, great climate control, comfortable leather seats, quiet cabin.
Why am I selling? I got an itch to import a JDM Diesel Land Cruiser from Japan. I don’t have enough garage space for both, so it’s time for the 200 to find a new home and free up some cash for the list of upgrades I have for the “new” 100.

HISTORY OF VEHICLE:

4 Owner Vehicle – Always owned and garaged in Colorado (titled for a brief time in Wyoming but not sure it ever spent time there)
I purchased in 2019 from someone in our local Toyota Off-roading Club (Rising Sun 4×4 Club) who had a reputation of taking great care of their vehicles. That individual had purchased this truck from Slee Off-Road in 2015 where the truck was initially built, and used as a show-truck for Slee. 95% of the aftermarket work on this truck was done by Slee (the “Sleebuilt” stickers are still visible on the vehicle). Slee Off-Road purchased from the 1st and original owner in 2013.

CONDITION:

Truck has been used off-road and there is evidence of that on the armor underneath (that’s what it’s for right?). It has always been well maintained as evidenced by the Carfax, condition, by mechanics that know Toyota Land Cruisers. Interior is as close to perfect as you will get on a 2008 with 180k plus miles. Dash is perfect, no cracks or tears on seats. I cleaned the seats and carpets getting ready to sell – they almost look perfect. No stains, no major issues. Couple of small marks on headliner. No smells, no annoying squeaks while driving. CARFAX AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

LIST OF UPGRADES:

Old Man Emu BP-51 Suspension (these have been rebuilt/replaced over the last few years)
ARB Sahara Bull Bar
Warn 9.5 Winch with synthetic line and Factor 55 Hawse fairlead
Slee Sliders
Re-geared to 4:30 diff ratio
ARB Air Lockers front and rear
ARB Single Air Compressor (for lockers)
Viair Air Compressor and Tank in the back for using air tools, faster air up
Blue Sea Systems Fuse Block in back for running fridge, usb chargers, other accessories off of the second battery (without draining the primary while parked)
Dual battery system with IBS Dual Battery Management
TRD Rock Warrior wheels
33” Cooper ST Maxx Tires
Cobra CB (CB wired to antenna mounted on bumper)
Outback ARB Drawer System
50” Rigid Industries LED Light Bar
ARB 9” LED Intensity Lights (One Spot, One Flood)
Front Runner Cheetah Roof Rack, Full Length
ARB 200 Series Skid Plate System
ARB 200 Series Rear Bumper
ARB Safari Armax Snorkel

Like all used Land Cruisers, she isn’t perfect:

– Cracked windshield (I’ll be happy to replace before the new buyer takes possession)
– Some minor pin striping, small dings from picking up small stones on the road. All within 1 or 2mm in diameter.
– Small dent on driver side door, driver side quarter panel (about 3-4 mm wide) and one large dent in rear hatch (2 inches across).
– Large scratch on ARB front bumper and one of the rubber bumper pieces is loose)
– The driver’s side quarter panel was professional restored by a great local body shop after I brushed a rock in Moab (was the spotter’s fault, I swear). – — The paint and body were repaired perfectly (does not show up on Carfax).
– Fan behind the glove box squeaks when first starting the truck up in cold weather. No clue why, it goes away after a minute, a smarter person than me could figure out how to fix.
– The center differential censor is probably due to be replaced. After a long drive out to a campsite, a cold night at camp, the differential light will blink when the truck is turned on the next morning. This makes it impossible to engage/disengage the center diff or change from 4lo/4hi until the truck has been warmed up (5-10 minutes with the engine running, turn off, turn on, problem goes away). It hasn’t been a big enough issue for me to fix as the workaround only requires 5-10 minutes worth of patience.
Some small, very slow leaks at the seal on a couple of the mechanical components (transfer case). Were noted during a recent pre-sale inspection, my mechanic, who knows Toyota Land Cruisers wasn’t concerned as the leaks appeared very slow as the fluid level was fine.
