Are you adding lockers to your FJ40 build?

Our sweet little solution looks first-class in the factory ashtray location and allows the use of reliable factory Toyota mechanical switches along with our custom billet knobs.

But let’s start with some background and history of how we were all doing it before. We’ve all done it or seen it… The simple sheet metal plate is mounted over the ashtray pocket to mount control knobs or switches; back when we were teenagers, Toyota Land Cruisers were cheap!

Enter the new era!
FJ40 Land Cruisers are considered “classics;” thus, we needed a little classy solution for adding lockers to our FJ40 4X4!

Adding Lockers to your FJ40? RL1063-A/B BILLET ATP SWITCH PANEL
The BILLET ATP SWITCH PANEL (Ash Tray Pocket) for Lockers / Accessories Switches
Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers are considered “classics”; thus, we need something a little classy even when adding lockers to our four-wheel-drive Land Cruisers! We had an in-house resto-mod project FJ40 and made this one-off billet aluminum switch panel to mount the Compressor, Rear Locker, and Front Locker switch knobs using the OEM Toyota Switches.

For the Billet ATP Switch Panel, we make use of the factory ashtray pocket and use the factory screws. Thus, we are not committing a party foul by cutting the factory Toyota sheet metal dash. #FearTheToyotaGods #BadTrailJuJu

If you’re adding lockers to your FJ40 and want the “factory custom” or RestoMod look, here is the example of the custom-painted RL1063-B RAW – Billet ATP Switch Panel for our in-house customer FJ40 project.

With the edge of the Billet ATP Switch Panel, polished and custom painted, this made for a nice touch to mount the locker switches and billet knobs to match the Billet Knobs – SET, 1973 – 1979 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser of this resto-mod built FJ40. This particular rig will not use a front locker but will use the third through-hole for rear lights for those sticky situations.
