Even though we have a 2F SNIPER EFI PARTS section on our website, many of you have asked for an “all-in-one cart” buy-it-now button. It’s not so simple as a few variables must be decided from a long list of parts for a complete Sniper EFI conversion. In the interim of “one button buy it all,” we made this “all in one place,” showing all the parts needed to perform your Holley Sniper EFI conversion for the 2F Toyota engine. But we have broken it down into five systems!

BUT FIRST! 2F SNIPER 101 – WHERE TO START?
Installing the Holley Sniper EFI system onto the 2F Toyota engine is not just a “bolt-on affair,” as numerous conditions affect engine performance. In the case of most of these old Toyota Land Cruisers, well, it’s just that—old age! Thus, we strongly stress that you have the best-running 2F engine possible before starting the electronic fuel injection conversion process!

1: FUEL – HARDLINES
This is the first variable we start with, as you will need to determine if your 2F engine is equipped with an oil cooler or does not have the factory oil cooler.
We have two SNIPER 2F FUEL LINE KIT versions: “WITH” or “WITHOUT” the Factory Oil Cooler.
• The RL1075 A/B 2F Set is for 2F WITH the Oil Cooler
• THE RL1071 A/B 2F Set is for 2F WITHOUT (w/o) Oil Cooler
Soft fuel lines and fittings from the fuel tank to these hard lines will also be needed. See 5: FUEL—DELIVERY below.
2: SENSOR
This is a little tricky because your 2F EFI conversion will require one of the two combinations. Of course, the most desirable is the cheapest, and that will require having the “3-port” head.
You must have a “THREE PORT HEAD” to use the RL1086 bushing.
Toyota Land Cruiser 2F cylinder heads come in “two flavors!”
Why does this matter? Toyota Land Cruiser cylinder heads come in “two flavors,” 2-Port and 3-Port heads across the range of 4/60-Series Land Cruisers. When adding the Holley Sniper System to your 4/60-Series, the head unit is equipped with an electronic water temperature sensor. If the cylinder head is the 3-Port design, use our 2F/F Reducing Bushing for the Holley Sniper Coolant Temperature Sensor and disregard the Thermostat Housing Modification. But, if your 2F Cylinder Head is a 2-Port design, you can use our RL1076 2F Modified Thermostat Housing to have a location suitable for the Holley Sniper Coolant Temp Sensor.
Let’s start with the question, “How do I know what type of cylinder head I have?”

IDENTIFY: WHAT CYLINDER HEAD DO YOU HAVE
If your Toyota 2F FJ60 Cylinder Head is a 2-Port design, we’ve modified the lower thermostat housing so you can install the Holley Sniper Coolant Temperature Sensor. If you have a 1F 2-Port design head (11101-60031 castings or earlier), see our 60031 Sniper Thermo Housing Mod Kit.
3: AIR
We like to use the OEM Toyota 2F Air Cleaner Assembly! The Red Line Land Cruiser 2F Air Cleaner Adapter Kit allows the OEM air cleaner to remain in use when adding the Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection system to your 2F Toyota engine.
Our 2F Air Cleaner Adapter Kit for Holley Sniper EFI RL1029/RL1030 comprises three pieces. The top plate portion attaches to the OEM air cleaner. The top plate fits precisely into the bottom piece that attaches to the inlet of the Sniper head unit. The kit includes a custom offset stainless steel stud to hold the air cleaner and adapter kit firmly to the Sniper unit with a factory fit and finish.

4: SPARK – THE BEST TUNE-UP POSSIBLE
We have the “SPARK” category as number four on your list, but technically, it should be your FIRST! Why? This package can happen now with your carburated 2F engine. You are not going to change these items when converting to EFI. This package delivers a better spark, eliminates the igniter, and the distributor delivers a better curve more suited for an inline six than any V8 aftermarket distributor. 5: FUEL – DELIVERY
1F / 2F Sniper Fuel Line Kit
This is the complete kit to connect the gas tank (minus the fuel pump) to the hard fuel lines that connect to the Holley Sniper Head unit.

6-5: CABLE STOP
You will need the RL1020 CABLE STOP ANCHOR BARREL ONLY if you have a gas pedal from a 1968 to 9/1973 Land Cruiser. It all comes down to the year your gas pedal is, whether it’s a 1F or 2F engine. This Cable Stop Anchor Barrel is needed if your gas pedal is from a 1968 to 9/1973 Land Cruiser.
6-6: HEATSHIELD
The Red Line Sniper 2F Manifold Heat Shield allows you to retain a shield when installing the Holley EFI head unit and manifold adapter:
6-7: BLOCK OFF PLATE
When going Holley SNIPER EFI on your F-Series Toyota engine, we made a cool little billet block-off plate that includes a factory Toyota gasket and metric hardware when removing the F-Series mechanical fuel pump. 6-8: FF-PLUG
Are you D-Smogging or converting to EFI on an F/2F Toyota engine? If Toyota were to do it, this is how they would do it, but technically, this is how Red Line Land Cruisers replace the Gas Filter on the F-Series (1F and 2F) Toyota manifold. RL1062 Fuel Filter Plug For 1F / 2F Manifold, Toyota Land Cruiser • Pinching the airline just above the Gas Filter may be an OK “trail-fix-way,” but you are not doing this on the trail. 6-9: CHARCOAL CANISTER KIT
The charcoal canister connects directly to the engine and is “driven” by a vacuum, thus affecting your engine’s air-fuel mixture. When converting to EFI, you want/need to add a charcoal system! It has nothing to do with “smog equipment” and everything to do with the “fuel system!”

HOLLEY SNIPER EFI 2300 IN THREE FLAVORS
If you have a sound engine functioning well, you can convert to electronic fuel injection. You will need the Holley SNIPER EFI 2300 DBBL System. We do not sell these directly, so you must source them from your favorite Holley retailer. The Holley 2300 Series 2BBL Sniper Kit comes in “three flavors,” but we “always bet on black!”
